Color Psychology

Purple uses red and blue to provide a nice balance between stimulation and serenity that encourages creativity. If you what something peaceful and calming you would go with using green or blue or both. Blue is a calming  and serene color and they say it decreases respiration and lowers blood pressure so the best room to have this color in is your bedroom. The swatches that are popular for energy bar advertisements are brown and blue tones. Brown is a popular choice because it's the color of chocolate, a common bar flavor, and in associated with nature and health. Blue is also associated with health, cleanliness and serenity, which appeals to lifestyle choices that energy bar users might make.
